"The older I get, the more beautiful life becomes."

My son found this wonderfully strange burl ball on my Mom's property under a tree years ago. It was a near complete burl ball and so beautiful! I've kept it for many years on my desk. It's one of the many strange, natural treasures my kids have gifted me. 
Finally I was called to create this artwork with it. The woman was inspired by the intricate beauty of a native elder, adorned with real turquoise stones and feathers. 

The wooden ball has a small stand affixed to it and moss has been added. She is a special, one of a kind artwork looking for the perfect home. Tears water our growth 🩵💙🩵
